Photographed @ Cafe Coffee Day, Bangalore

I had to put some effort to capture this Christmas decoration that was put up at a coffee shop in Bangalore.

It was Christmas eve and I was looking out for something to put up on my blog. This decoration caught my eye. I had to wait until the next table became free, move there and compose this photograph, in order to get the red background. Since the red-background was off to a side, I had to avoid a straight front-up shot, which was just as well. The colorful balloons add to the festive effect.

Not having a tripod, I had to work hard to keep my hands steady. Using a flash would have robbed the picture of the warmth.

Overall, a very satisfying capture.
