Focal Length:24mm
Shutter:1/0 sec
Camera:NIKON D80

Photographed @ Underwater World, Sentosa, Singapore

I always had trouble photographing in aquariums. The lack of light, the inability to use flash (all the glass tends to diffuse / reflect flash light), and the general lack of color always resulted in unimpressive photographs. Until I saw these white jellyfish in a blue lit container. The circular view-port provides an interesting frame.

  1. Did you use any optical filters in this pic?

  2. No filters. Used f/4, 1/45 sec (no flash) and was lucky to get a steady shot.
